Freedom all the way is a brand film for London North Eastern Railway, made with M&C Saatchi. Its brand character, Eleanor, is a puppet who moves through the carriage in pure delight. The idea began with Fatboy Slim's Weapon of Choice and its Christopher Walken video. A train that never leaves the studio, and a journey that feels completely real. The whole film was shot on a studio set, so every carriage window opened onto nothing. I worked with Little Dot Studios on the train window compositing. We filled each pane with exterior scenery, matched to the light and the motion inside the car.
